Gürcistan Tiflis Mozart Yarışması ve Festivali – 2 ve 3. Günler

2. Gün | Day 2

Bugün Tiflis yolculuğumun ikinci günüydü. Kahvaltıdan sonra yarışma piyanosunda prova yaptım. Piyano gayet güzel, gıcır gıcır yepyeni bir Yamaha C1. Bizim okulumuzun sahnesindeki piyanoya (C3) benzediği için hiç zorluk çekmedim.

Today was the second day of my trip. After the breakfast I rehearsed on the competition piano. It’s a brand new Yamaha C1. I didn’t have any difficulties playing it since it’s really similar to our school’s concert hall piano (C3).

Akşam jüri üyelerinden Tatiana Nechaeva’nın konseri vardı. Konserde Liszt’ten ve Schubert’ten ikişer parça çaldı. | In the evening there was a concert of a jury member, Tatiana Nechaeva. She played Liszt and Schubert, two pieces from each.

Otele dönerken bindiğimiz taksi sağdan direksiyonluydu. Trafik biz dahil çoğu ülkede olduğu sağdan akıyor, ancak iki türlü araba da yaygın. İlk defa sağdan direksiyonlu bir arabaya binmiş olduk.

On our way to the hotel the taxi we hopped in was a right-hand-side car. The traffic is a right hand traffic like the most of the world, but interestingly both types of cars are common. This was our first time riding a right hand side car.

Gürcüce çok ilginç bir dil, hatta günümüzde halen kullanılan en eski dillerden biri. Güney Kafkasya dillerinden olan Gürcüce kendine özgü bir alfabe kullanıyor ve yavaştan sökmeye başladım.

Georgian is a very interesting language, it’s one of the oldest surviving languages. It comes from South Caucasia and has its own alphabet, which I’m slowly starting to understand at the moment.

3. Gün | Day 3

Bugün Tiflis yolculuğumun üçüncü günü ve yarışmanın ilk günüydü. Bugün küçük gruplar yarışacak, biz ise yarın çalacağız. Tamara hoca ile ikinci dersimi de bugün yaptım. Bu sefer Ravel’e daha çok odaklandık, özellikle vurgulara ve pedallara baktık.

Today is the third day of my trip and the first day of the competition. Young competitors are playing today and we are playing tomorrow. I also had my second lesson with Tamara Poddubnaya today. We focused on Ravel today, especially on emphasises and pedal.

Otelimizin bulunduğu Agmashanebeli Bulvarı şehrin merkezi gibi bir yer. Türk restoranları çok yaygın, tam karşımızda ise bir dans okulu var. Bulvar adını eski Gürcü çarı “David Agmashanebeli”den almış. Bulvarın tam ortasında da mağazaların bulunduğu Özgürlük Meydanı var.

Our hotel is on Agmashanebeli Boulevard, which is like the center of the city. Turkish restaurants are very common, and there is a dancing school right in front of our hotel. The name of the boulevard comes from Georgian tsar “David Agmashanebeli”. There is a square in the middle of the boulevard which is named Freedom Square.
