Bugün PIANALE’nin 6. günüydü ve bizim konserimiz vardı, ancak akşamki konserden önce sabah Prof. William Fong ile ilk dersimi yaptım, derste Beethoven sonatımı (No. 12 Op. 26) ve Ravel Sonatin çalıştık.
Today was the sixth day of PIANALE and we had a concert, but before the concert I had my first lesson with Prof. William Fong. We studied on my Beethoven sonata (No. 12, Op 26) and Ravel Sonatine.
Rachmaninoff Prelude’den sonra kendi bestem Tavşan ve Kaplumbağa’yı, daha sonra Saygun’dan bir aksak ritimli etüd çaldım. Konser açıklamalı oldu, ben de dinleyiciye bestemin konusunu açıkladım, ve Saygun hakkında kısa bilgi verdim, Almanca olarak tabii ki.
After the Rachmaninoff Prelude, I played my composition “the Rabbit and the Turtle”, and then an “Aksak” etude from Turkish composer A.A. Saygun. I also explained the story behind my composition, and told them about Saygun (In German, of course), before playing them.
